Course Description: This course will journey into the arenas of relational touch, neural manipulation, embodiment skills, therapeutic humility, authentic presence, and conscious communication.Like integration for Integrators! This will be for you if you like to learn about:- Creating more client engagement, greater session impact, and fulfillment with the work- Working smarter, not harder; working deeper without having to using more pressure- Building and maintaining clear and supportive therapeutic relationships- Integrating communication, self-awareness, and embodiment skills from the principles of Authentic Relating- Blending neuro-style approaches like Neurodynamics and DNM with classic SI work- How to work with interoception as a powerful doorway to depth and transformation- Sharpening perceptual capacity for pattern recognition- Gaining insight into professional/personal strengths and challenges- Taking next steps for professional/personal evolution and growth There are so many great classes out there that focus on technique and WHAT to do. This class will explore what drives HOW and WHY we show up to our sessions the ways we do. By developing this self-insight, therapeutic vision, and new tools for evoking embodiment during our sessions we can increase the potential of our work. We will learn about and experiment with the different layers of giving and receiving the work in authentic and meaningful ways. Please come open to the ideas of widening the lens of your work, engaging more fully in sessions, and being even more awesome at what you already do.

Instructor Bio(s): After almost 25 years of study Michael Polon still has the same beginner's excitement when it comes to exploring the art, science, theory and practice of SI. Through consistent curiosity and study from within and outside the field of SI, he is passionate about continuing to learn how anatomy, movement, posture, pain, therapeutic presence, embodiment and healing all come together in our work. Michael has been an instructor at DIRI since 2001.
