Course Description: In the second Part of the Manual Neurovascular Release course series, you will continue working strategically with the vascular system to release hypertonic muscles that are shortening the myofascial tracks, distorting posture, and limiting movement. You will further develop your skills and strategies for freeing up peripheral nerves, cranial nerves, and dural restrictions to improve structural balance and function. In Manual NVR Part 2, we will complete our work with the torso and we will work comprehensively with the pelvis, hips, and thighs while we further develop your subtle assessment skills, applying this approach to “listening” to what the body needs and is telling you and keeping in mind our goals of improving structural balance and freedom in movement. The techniques that you learn in this five-part course series have a certain precision to them, making them particularly effective for fine-tuning structural balance. Our deep dive into the details will help you hone your subtle palpation and assessment skills. We will work from the torso out to the periphery, freeing vasculature, nerves, dura, and viscera. This approach is great for every client or patient who can use an extra nudge to help them emerge from an old structural pattern, especially for athletes and other people with activity- or injury-based imbalances. After each of the NVR courses, you’ll want to invite your past clients/patients back for a few tune-up sessions that incorporate NVR.
