3. Restorative: support and resources (social and emotional) that you need to sustain yourself in your work.

• Recognizing why our whole community benefits when you get supervision and/or mentoring.

About the Speaker :

Liz Stewart is a Board Certified Structural Integrator and an Advanced Practitioner of Structural Integration. She has been in practice since 1992 having graduated from the Guild For Structural Integration in Boulder, CO. In addition to her SI education, she has studied other complementary modalities to help inform her hands, especially when working with complex clients. Early into her practice, Liz assisted in basic and advanced trainings with teachers who studied directly with Dr. Ida Rolf. With a strong desire for a diverse education, yet limited by the politics between schools, Liz also apprenticed locally with Rolf Institute and Movement Faculty in their private practices. She is former faculty at GSI, has guest taught at the DIRI (The Rolf Institute), SOMA-Institute, SKT Institute, and has her own CE courses and ongoing study groups both in the US, abroad and online.

In addition to her private practice, Liz has a supervision program (a type of mentoring, consultation and education) where she provides in-person and online support in small group settings and one-to-one sessions for practitioners and SI educators. Liz holds the belief that supervision provides the imperative framework for self-care and a path to understanding oneself in their professional. With 27 years of practice along with her teaching and supervision trainings from GSI, Matrixworks®, The Trauma-Dynamics Institute, The Center for Group Studies, The Center For Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, and the Oxford-Brookes University. Liz invites you to discover your professional self fully in your work.

Liz brings her fun and supportive nature into all she does. Her work has been described as comprehensive and deeply transformative. Her clients refer to Liz as “highly intuitive, strikingly observant and razor-sharp”. She practices out of her North Boulder office and when she is not there, she is either with family (dog included) hiking, cooking or riding her bike.
