Advanced 5-Series Training with 10-Series Review

Course Description:

In this six-week training, skills and understanding of the Basic 10-Series are reviewed and refined under the Guild’s Instructors. This training is the foundation of learning the Advanced 5-Series, as developed by Dr. Rolf and our school’s founders, the late Emmett Hutchins and Peter Melchior. Class members attend lectures and demos and work on models. Movement integration themes are also emphasized. A certificate is awarded at the successful completion of this phase certifying your training in the Advanced 5-Series of the Dr. Ida P. Rolf Method of Structural Integration.

Instructor Bio: 

Amber Burnham has been a Structural Integration practitioner since 1999. She is on the faculty for the Guild for Structural Integration, where she teaches the Basic 10-series, Advanced Training courses, and Continuing Education workshops. Previously, Amber taught at the Utah College of Massage Therapy from 1999­-2007. Recently, she has been developing and teaching a 10-series review course with cadaver lab and dissection in collaboration with Elisa Noel. Amber serves on the board for International Association of Structural Integrators.

Elisa Noel is an Advanced Structural Integration practitioner. She originally practiced with Emmett Hutchins in 2007, and assisted alongside him, as well as Amber Burnham, in Basic and Advanced trainings for the Guild since 2010. Elisa is on the faculty for the Guild for Structural Integration, where she teaches the Basic 10-series, Advanced Training courses, and Continuing Education workshops. Along with her studies in Structural Integration, Elisa completed a Master’s Degree in Physiology and Kinesiology from Southern Illinois University in 2002. Recently, she has been developing and teaching a 10-series review course with cadaver lab and dissection in collaboration with Amber Burnham. Elisa is an active member on the board for the Guild.
