Course Description:
The 5-Day Intensive, like the 6-Day course, is a profound, whirlwind dissection journey layer-by-layer through the whole human form, the main difference being the use of unfixed tissues. This perspective is a perfect complement to the explorations of the fixed course, in that it adds the element of movement to the deep encounter with structure. Six to seven participants per table work together to dissect and discuss the structure and function of human anatomy from an integral perspective. Gil's experience working with both fixed and unfixed tissues informs the exploration, and the space, to the advantage of the whole group.
Instructor Bio:
Gil Hedley, Ph.D., works both online and in-person developing the field of integral anatomy as an approach to the study of human form. He is the founder of Somanautics Workshops, Inc., offering dissection intensives to hands-on professionals since 1995. Gil is also the creator and publisher of The Integral Anatomy Series, four feature-length video volumes documenting his whole body, whole person, layer-by-layer approach to anatomy from an integral perspective.
