Course Description:
A detailed anatomical journey into the biomechanics and anatomy of the upper extremity.
- The concept of Lemniscate and how it relates to normal mechanics and soft tissue hydration
- A detailed look at the shoulder anatomy through the lens of the Tissue Misplacement concept of Lauren Berry
- Treatment of the embryologic portions of the upper extremity
- The clavicle as extremity versus rib
- Interosseous membrane details and hydration
- Subtle accessory motions of the healthy elbow and their relation to interosseous membrane health
- Select anatomical structures will be built three-dimensionally out of clay and other materials to solidify and anchor the principles and relationships
- Embryologic “Gestures” of the arms
Instructor Bio:
Ron Murray DO (MP) is a Professor of the Canadian College of Osteopathy, a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Advanced Rolfer™, Licensed Berry Method Practitioner/Teacher. Rom teaches in the USA and Canada to structural integrators, massage practitioners, physical therapists, chiropractors and others, specializing in smaller classes to ensure that each student gets adequate attention.
