Exploring Your Fascial Body
The Power of Interoception and Embodiment

Instructor: Mary Bond

Organizational Host: Kripalu Center

IASI CE Credits:

Course Description:

Structural Integrators "see" with our bodies via mirror neurons—consciously or unconsciously, we tap into our own embodiment to identify clients' structural and movement patterns.

This workshop ramps up your embodiment.

  • Experience fascia as an organ of interoception.
  • Re-discover tensegrity as the organizing principle of Structural Integration
  • Practice “perceptual tensegrity” as a practical means of maintaining expansion and balance in our bodies.
Class includes lecture, experiential anatomy, somatic contemplations, dyad exercises, and applications to somatic disciplines such as yoga and Pilates, and to the activities of daily living.
