Keynote Speaker Announcement!

The Embryonic Field:
Touching the Origins of Form

Carol Agneessens has been a practitioner of Rolfing and Movement Integration for more than 37 years. She began her studies in craniosacral therapy in 1982 and has been teaching since 2005. Her studies in embryology influence her teaching and understanding of our implicit wholeness, dimensions of being and the grounding flows underlying formation.

Being There:
The Unique Contribution of Structural Integration to Spatial Medicine

Tom Myers, BCSICM, directs Anatomy Trains, which offers certification in Structural Integration in the USA, Australia, and Europe, as well as short courses in manual therapy and functional anatomy worldwide. Tom is the author of Anatomy Trains (2020, 4th ed), and co-author of Fascial Release for Structural Balance (2017, 2nd ed). The Anatomy Trains myofascial meridians, which connect the muscles through the fascial fabric, is increasingly employed in a wide variety of rehabilitation and performance enhancement modalities.

Tom studied directly with Buckminster Fuller, Ida Rolf, Moshe Feldenkrais, Judith Aston, Emilie Conrad, and a variety of European osteopaths. He has practiced Structural Integration for over forty years in a wide variety of clinical and cultural settings.

IASI Member Talks About Symposium

"Symposium is an opportunity to come out of the solitude of private practice in Structural Integration. I look forward to sharing work experiences from the last year with my colleagues and feeling the gratitude and pride of being part of a larger community of practitioners united in a common goal."

–Justin Farrell, Certified Rolfer, IASI Board Member
